Served as head of ICT Services in Construction Development Board, a regulatory authority under the Royal Government of Bhutan from 1 January 2011 till 30 July 2019. As the head of ICT Services, I was endowed with greater responsibilities to manage communication technology, technology support, database management, and unit management to ensure the availability of all the applications and infrastructure needs of the organization and keeping the public service delivery very efficient.
Furthermore, the uptime of local area networks, systems, websites and procurement of ICT infrastructure was a critical component. The Secretariat being service-oriented and most of the services were availed online by the citizens and the procuring agencies, played a critical role in the availability of all the online services round the clock. Also served as a highly effective trainer of online applications and had been rendering training to all users in the best capacity. Creative person and excellent in problem-solving.
Adequate knowledge in identifying the bugs and troubleshooting the application errors. Above all largely contributed in automating activities of the Secretariat and enhancing the application system which has drastically reduced the effort and time and improved public service delivery through the use of technology.
