January 2011- August 2,2019: Senior Information Communication & Technology Officer, Construction Development Board.Core responsibilities include: 

  1.  Management of Communication Technology
  • Manage and support internet and web services;
  • Management of organization’s telecommunications network;
  •  Advice on and support organization’s infrastructure and applications systems.
  • Facilitate the development of regional policies in the area of ICT and translation of these policies where appropriate into regional projects and work plans;
  • Provide substantive input into the development of regional policies and priorities with respect to ICT project matters;
  • Coordinate the development of appropriate guidelines and classification systems;
  1.  Management of Technology Support
  •  Planning and coordinating of cost-effective procurement of information technology;
  •  Establish and enforce application standards;
  •  Manage staff training in information technology and knowledge management.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of regional projects and work plan;
  • Participate in negotiations for software purchases with vendors; 
  • Oversee the maintenance of licenses resulting from such purchases.
  • Responsible for designing computer information systems, modifying systems to improve production or work flow, or expanding systems to serve new purposes;
  • Provide time/cost estimates for scheduling/budgeting purposes when required;
  • Prepare charts and diagrams that constitute a representation of the new system in terms which managers or non-data processing personnel can understand;
  • Prepare specifications for programmers to follow;
  • Coordinate the development of test problems to debug the system and participates in trial runs of the systems.
  • Design and maintain physical network architecture and infrastructure;
  • Configure and optimize network servers;
  • Develop and implement network system and user security requirements;
  • Analyze network workload, monitor performance and diagnose problems;
  •  Develop backup and recovery procedures; 
  •  Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed, sufficient to allow independent generation of the same process and the results.
  1. Database Management
  •  Ensure that the organization’s databases conform to the technical standards            followed in the country;
  • Support organization’s business intelligence tools for data analysis;
  • Support the development and implementation of executive information systems.
  1.   Unit Management
  • Formulation and implementation of Information Technology and Knowledge management strategy to guide the organization’s future directions;
  •  Management of all IT personnel, resources and operations of the organizations;
  •  Support of change management practices and re-engineering initiatives;
  • Management of IT inventories.
